Jockey Club eGPS Psychological Support Project- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia

9, 16, 30 October and 6, 13 November (On Saturdays, 10:00-12:00)

The course will explain the causes of insomnia and introduce methods to improve sleep from the cognitive-behavioral perspective. Also, it will guide participants to apply what they have learned in class to their daily life, adjust their sleep habits and reduce the negative impacts of insomnia.

Being the Angel of Secondary Students

20, 27 August/ 3, 10, 17, 24 September (On Fridays, 17:00-18:00)

In recent year, students in Hong Kong encountered different challenges due to the change of life or learning patterns. Parents, teachers, or supporters around them should pay more attention to their physical and mental health Through this course, you may learn how to help adolescents to stay mentally and physically healthy by understanding their needs and growth challenges gradually. You may also learn how to identify initial crisis and take appropriate interventions so as to establish a positive growth environment for adolescents.

Foundation of Counselling

18, 25 August and 1, 8 September 2021 (On Wednesdays, 14:00-15:00)

Meeting with a counselor means tantamount to encountering mental health crisis? Have you ever imagined that we can have a deeper understanding of ourselves and improve ourselves through counseling? You may have an initial understanding of the basics counseling techniques from this course.
