Healthy Mind Pilot Project
Service Introduction
The government-funded "Healthy Minds Pilot Project" was launched in August 2024. The New Life Association is one of the operating organizations of this project, providing free emotional assessment and low-intensity mental health support to members of the Tuen Mun District Health Centre aged 18 or above in the same district. The program aims to use clinically evidence-based psychotherapy to enhance participants’ emotion management skills, with the hope of improving their depression and anxiety.
Our Service
- Service starts from August 2024
- Provide free mental health assessments to residents at the community level
- Citizens who are considered to have mental health needs after initial assessment will be referred to non-governmental organizations for further assessment and follow-up
- NLPRA is one of the non-governmental organizations cooperating with the project
Service Target
- Members of the same district who are 18 years old or above
Service Charge
The service is free of charge.
