COVID-19 Emergency Response by AIA Foundation
RESULT ANNOUNCEMENT
In response to the severe challenges posed by the fifth wave of the pandemic, AIA Foundation has generously donated HK$10 million to The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) for purchasing supermarket and dining vouchers (the programme), aims to provide instant support to the people with disabilities (PWDs) living in the community and ease their hardship in daily lives. The programme is co-organised by HKCSS and the Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities, while 12 local non-profit organisations for rehabilitation service are the partners of this programme, they are responsible for handling applications and distribution of the mentioned cash vouchers. We, New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association, are one of the partners of the programme.
Each successful applicant will receive a total of HK$1,000 supermarket and dining vouchers to relieve some of the daily expenses. More than 10,000 PWDs will be benefited in this programme.

The quota for each district is calculated based on the ratio of the number of applications received by the district to the total number of applications. Applicants should check with the organisations that they submitted application to for the results. The organisation will contact each successful applicant (who applied via their organisation) for the date and arrangement of vouchers collection.
Vouchers collection period: from 17 May to 10 June 2022
Successful applicants must bring the following documents for verification when collecting the cash vouchers:
1.Original of a valid HKID card*; and
2.Original of a valid Registration Card for People with Disabilities**; and
3.A proof of receiving financial assistance from the CSSA Scheme’ OR his/her carer receiving living allowance under the Pilot Scheme on Living Allowance for Low-income Carers of Persons with Disabilities; and
4.A proof of Residential Address
* Hong Kong residents under the age of 11 that do not hold a HKID card can use the original of Hong Kong Birth Certificate as replacement of the HKID card.
** Persons with special education needs can use the proof of studying in Special Education programme recognised by government OR assessment report issued by the government departments/Hospital Authority as replacement of the Registration Card for People with Disabilities.
