Hong Kong Disneyland ‘Supplier Diversity Conference & Expo’

Mr Thomas CHU Sai-ming (second from left), CEO of New Life shared the potential and capabilities of Persons in Recovery in a panel discussion at Hong Kong Disneyland’s Supplier Diversity Conference & Expo. New Life also showcased feature products made by Persons in Recovery at the event, such as the rwb330 eco-friendly bags, ceramic products, and aroma stones, to highlight their talents to the attendees.


Complimentary Tickets For Members To Hong Kong Disneyland

New Life was grateful to have received complimentary tickets to Hong Kong Disneyland, offering the service users and their families the opportunity to visit the theme park. Approximately 1,000 participants visited Hong Kong Disneyland and enjoyed the joyful atmosphere at the park.

Mid-Autumn Festival Gathering At Tuen Mun Long Stay Care Home

New Life’s Tuen Mun Long Stay Care Home has been in service for nearly nine months. To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Long Stay Care Home held its first large-scale festival event, with over 300 residents and service users participating in this celebration party to mark this special festival.

The party featured various attractive booth activities such as ring toss, bottle hoopla, claw machines, and cotton candy making. Service users enjoyed the activities and the festive atmosphere together.


Icy Mooncake Workshop At Tuen Mun Long Stay Care Home


Tuen Mun Long Stay Care Home regularly organises various art workshops and training classes, aiming to improve the residents’ concentration, physical fitness and their holistic well-being.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Long Stay Care Home has hosted a DIY icy mooncake workshop for its residents. From the making of the dough to the filling, participants were able to take part in every steps, successfully making their unique icy mooncakes.


Closing Of Lingnan University’s Embracing Ageing – Health Management And Promotion Programme


dayday330 participated in the closing ceremony of Lingnan University’s Embracing Ageing – Health Management and Promotion Programme. During the event, the team showcased information regarding holistic health and assisted attendees in undergoing on-site holistic health assessments to help them understand more about holistic health and promote the 330 Health Index.


Mooncake Donation From Rotary Club Of Kwai Chung And Chi Lin Nunnery


New Life was pleased to receive a donation of mooncakes from the Rotary Club of Kwai Chung and Chi Lin Nunnery. Grand YOHO Club Environmental Day


New Life Farm took part in the Environmental Day organised by Grand YOHO Club, educating residents how to transform recycled items into everyday products. The team also promoted local organic farming, encouraging participants to embrace the idea of consuming seasonal food to reduce energy waste.


Hermès Charity Sale


New Life's vocational rehabilitation service units, including the Kwai Shing Sheltered Workshop, Jockey Club Sun Workshop, New Life Building Sheltered Workshop and Shek Pai Wan Integrated Work Centre, were invited by renowned internal brand Hermès to participate in its charity sale event. New Life’s service users proudly showcased the products made by the Association’s Persons in recovery, aimed at raising awareness about mental health and the capabilities of the Persons in recovery.

Kwai Shing Sheltered Workshop: ECF Food Sharing Project

Meiriki Japan x CUHK Food and Nutritional Sciences Programme Summer Nutrition Training Camp


Participants from a Summer Nutrition Training Camp organised by Meiriki Japan and CUHK Food and Nutritional Sciences Programme visited the Kwai Shing Sheltered Workshop and took part in the food distribution for members of the ECF Project.


Apart from the food distribution, participants also conducted complimentary nutrition counselling to the members and offered them customised nutrition advice. Participants were able to have a better understanding of the communities as well as the concept of food sovereignty.


SunLife At newlife330 Introductory Workshop To Mindfulness


newlife 330 was invited by Sun Life to conduct an introductory workshop to mindfulness for its staff members. Guided by newlife 330’s instructors, participants gained an initial understanding of mindfulness and learned the importance of the mindful listening and observation in their everyday life and work. They also learned how to use a mindful attitude to cope with everyday stress.
