New Life To Hold Mental Health Symposium In March
New Life will host a 3-days Mental Health Symposium from 15-17 Mar, with the theme "Change and Challenge: From Recovery to Holistic Well-being”. Members of the public are welcome to join.
The recovery model has been introduced in New Life for the mental health services for over a decade since 2010, and has also developed the localized recovery principles. It is timely to reflect on the mental health recovery development in the last decade and explore how to forge the way forward to better meet the changing needs of the service users and their families.
The 3-days symposium will gather government officials, academia and industry experts from Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas to exchange insights on various issues regarding mental health services and the future prospect. Transformation of mental health services will be one key focus to be explored at the event. This symposium also serves as a perfect opportunity for New Life to showcase its dedication and experience in implementing the Recovery-based mental health services.

330 Bazaar in February
330 Bazaar once again took place at so330 in Wan Chai’s Tai Yuen Street, with the theme of Valentine’s Day. The Bazaar gathered booths from Chuk Yuen Integrated Work Centre, dayday330 and newlife.330, BARAKH, Brighten Coffee and Time To Gold.
Products for sale at the Bazaar included clay art pieces and knitted flowers made by People in Recovery (PIR), low-sugar Chinese pastries made by women in golden age, special drip coffee, and relaxing European herbal tea. By purchasing the products as gifts, participants were able to support the social enterprises and learn more about holistic well-being for an exceptional Valentine’s Day.
Workshops on drip coffee and hand-made chocolates were conducted in the morning to provide the participants with a one-of-a-kind experience.
The next 330 Bazaar will be held on 12 Mar at so330. For further details please refer to so330’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

New Life at Hong Kong Social Service Expo 2023
New Life took part in the Hong Kong Social Service Expo 2023, organised by HKCSS at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 15 February. This year, with dayday330’s theme "Sharing Happiness”, New Life introduced its public awareness campaign on 330 (body, mind, spirit) holistic well-being to the audience across different sectors, including businesses, healthcare, education and professional bodies.
At New Life’s booth, a DIY message card service was offered for visitors to create their message cards with stamps and stickers of dayday330’s characters "dayday” and "Dr. 330”. Visitors could take a 330 micro break and send their blessings to their loved ones.
New Life was grateful to meet all the visitors, and we look forward to building an inclusive and harmonious society for the people in recovery.
