Prof. Sophia CHAN Siu-chee, Professor in Nursing at the University of Hong Kong and former Secretary for Food and Health Bureau of Government of the HKSAR, was the moderator of the forum. She said: "The launch of ‘330 Well-being Index’ reflects the Government’s vision of primary healthcare and serves as the right tool for it.” Prof. Annie TAM Kam-lan, GBS, JP, Chairperson of the Executive Committee of New Life, suggested the members of the public exercise "4As”: Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adherence upon completion of 330 Well-being Index assessment.

"This measurement of body, mind and spirit well-being covers one’s physical, mental, social and spiritual health, and focuses on conceptualising the body, mind and spirit well-being instead of highlighting the severity of a single disease or symptom.”
Director of Graduate Studies in Clinical Psychology of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Professor Patrick Wing-leung LEUNG

Professor Patrick Wing-leung LEUNG, Director of Graduate Studies in Clinical Psychology of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, encouraged the public to leverage the "330 Well-being Index" to help build a better way of life as the results indicate one’s area for attention and improvement with customized health advice.

The new version of body, mind and spirit well-being measurement not only correlates with negative phenomena such as anxiety, depression, distress, unfavourable body symptoms and isolation, but also includes other vital well-being indicators and positive qualities, for instance, resilience, life’s meaning, optimism, mercy, social connection, universal values and self-transcendence, contributing a more comprehensive and accurate analysis to user’s mental health status.
