During the ceremony, guests participated in a guided tour led by representatives from New Life and the Environmental Protection Department. GREEN@ WONG TAI SIN is the second GREEN@COMMUNITY recycling station operated by New Life, following "GREEN@KWAI TSING". New Life sincerely thanks the government for its trust and support and we remain committed to community recycling and environmental protection efforts, promoting environmental awareness, caring for the public's mental health, and working together to create an inclusive and green community.
GREEN@ WONG TAI SIN Promotes Community Outreach

As the twelfth GREEN@COMMUNITY recycling station, GREEN@ WONG TAI SIN has been fully operational since April 2025, dedicated to providing convenient recycling channels for residents in the district and promoting waste reduction at source.
Chinese Mainland government officials from the "C40” – a global network of nearly 100 mayors of the world’s leading cities that are united in action to confront the climate crisis – visited the GREEN@ WONG TAI SIN recycling station in August, accompanied by Ms. Jaime NG, Principal Environmental Protection Officer of the Environmental Protection Department. The delegation learned about the facility’s features and recycling procedures, and had a valuable exchange with New Life’s staff onsite (left image).
Mr. Thomas WU, JP, District Officer of Wong Tai Sin and District Councillor Ms. Janus LAU also led the "Wong Tai Sin King Fu Care Team" on a tour of the recycling station, where they also took part in an environmental workshop (right image).

Members of the Wong Tai Sin (North) Liaison Team, along with the District Officer, visited the recycling station as well, participating in environmental education workshops and exchanging views on green initiatives.
New Life is grateful to all community partners for their support. We look forward to establishing the GREEN@ WONG TAI SIN as a vital green hub in the community, working closely with the Environmental Protection Department to advance toward the goal of "zero waste to landfill".
