Jockey Club Collaborative Project For Inclusive Employment Opening Ceremony & Market Fair 2025

The Jockey Club Collaborative Project for Inclusive Employment, supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, held its launch ceremony earlier this month. As one of the participating organisations, New Life was represented by CEO, Mr. Thomas CHU Sai-ming (third from left), who joined the guest of honour, Mr. Chris SUN, JP, Secretary for Labour and Welfare (centre), as well as Mr. Jackson WOO, member of Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Board of Stewards (sixth from left), and representatives from other partner organisations in the launch ceremony.

Ms. Chris WONG Kar-hing, Head of Professional Services (Vocational Rehabilitation, Employment Services and Autism Spectrum Disorder Services) of New Life, also introduced the initiative during the ceremony, helping the public better understand its objectives.

Alongside the ceremony, a three-day market fair was held at the venue. New Life’s brands, drinks330 and Jockey Club Sun Workshop, set up stalls to promote products, such as O'Beans Soy Milk, aroma stones and handmade crafts. The event encouraged the public to support mental health awareness and products made by persons in mental recovery.

S+ Summit Cum Expo 2025

New Life participated in the "S+ Summit cum Expo 2025" organised by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 20 to 21 May. New Life's CEO, Mr. Thomas CHU Sai-ming (first from left), and staff attended the expo to exchange ideas with other industry professionals and promote collaboration between businesses and the social welfare sector.

The exhibition booth showcased products made by persons in recovery, demonstrating their artistic potential and creativity, while promoting the Association's services and achievements.

In addition to displaying signature products and services, New Life shared case studies and stories of past cross-sector collaborations at the exhibition, demonstrating how such partnerships can contribute to a more inclusive society.

Moving forward, New Life will continue fostering meaningful partnerships to benefit more service users.

Hang King Inclusive Bazaar

The Hang King Inclusive Bazaar, co-organised by New Life and CITIC Pacific, concluded successfully on 10 May. The bazaar attracted many residents in the community, creating a lively atmosphere.

The event promoted products made by persons in recovery, such as rwb330 products, ceramics, wooden crafts and other New Life brand products. The bazaar enabled the participants to recognise the potential of persons in recovery, while fostering social inclusion and holistic health awareness.

The Association's public mental health promotion initiative "dayday330" also set up an educational booth, introducing the public to "330 micro breaks", the [330] Wellness Index and five ways to enhance holistic well-being, encouraging daily attention to mental and physical health.

Live Interview On Metro Radio Programme
