Jockey Club Traditional Chinese Medicine-driven Mental Wellness Hub

With the generous support of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, New Life joined hands with HKBU School of Chinese Medicine Clinical Division to launch a three-year project "Jockey Club Traditional Chinese Medicine-driven Mental Wellness Hub".

Mr Chris SUN Yuk-han, JP (left), Secretary for Labour and Welfare, delivered a speech as the officiating guest at the launch ceremony. In his speech, Mr SUN looked forward to achieving the objective of "Early intervention, early treatment and early recovery” for mental health issues in the community, by combining the Chinese medicine and the support services provided by New Life.

Professor Annie TAM Kam-lan, GBS, JP (right), New Life’s Chairperson of the Executive Committee stated in her speech that the project will demonstrate how Chinese medicine treatments and counselling services can be integrated to help patients with mild to moderate insomnia, anxiety, and depression improve their mental health and promote their holistic well-being.
