Ninth "Angel’s Smile" Charity Photography Exhibition

New Life was invited by Dr. LIU Yan, founder of the Liu Yan Literary Art Foundation of China Literature and Art Foundation, to take part in the Foundation’s ninth "Angel’s Smile" Charity Photography Exhibition held at Phoenix Center in Beijing from 15 to 29 September. A total of 18 art pieces from 11 gift330 trainees were showcased in the exhibition. Through charity and art, New Life hopes to further strengthen collaboration and connection between the two cities.

The exhibited works were creations by gift330 trainees inspired by their "Art x Travel” community project. The trainees were given the chance to step out of their comfort zone and take a journey into different communities and districts in Hong Kong. They also visited some of the urban renewal projects that possess significant historical values to feel the vibe and culture of the city. Their creations, reflecting the author’s observations and feelings, offer a creative healing process to the trainees’ body, mind and spirit well-being. In addition, New Life will turn the creations into everyday items to integrate arts by people with disabilities into the community, further connecting creation with community and life.
