New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association strives to promote the "recovery-oriented” services and embraces the holistic health of the body (3), mind (3) and spirit (0). The Association encourages every one of us to integrate the dayday330 habit into the daily lives and care about our own 330 well-being.

To nurture the readers’ dayday330 habit, the Association published a new book - "Learn to rest, to live well and enjoy life” in 2022. The insights of holistic 330 well-being and 330 stories were shared by the professionals and people from various fields.

Invitation to Participate in the Online Survey about the Telepsychology

The Association is going to launch a one stop telepsychology platform, named as "JC Electronic Clinical for Psychological Service” with the aim of providing psychological intervention through online platform for adolescents and young adults suffering from depression and anxiety in Hong Kong.

To have better understanding on the mental health state of the general public in the midst of the pandemic, you are cordially invited to participate in the online survey about the Telepsychology. "Fight the Virus ‧ Walk Together” Online Sharing

Supported by the Jockey Club "Agility in New Normal” Facilities Enhancement Scheme, the Association launched the "Fight the Virus ‧ Walk Together”project through 7 ICCMWs. Nurses, nutritionist, traditional Chinese medicine practitioner and fitness coach were invited to share the wellness tips with the participants at the online sharing session held on 2 June 2022.




Online Seminar by ASD Services for The Goldman Sachs Group

The Goldman Sachs Group has always valued the diversity and social inclusion. To enhance employees’ awareness of the neurodiversity and autism spectrum disorder (ASD), the Association was invited to conduct a seminar under the topic of "Understanding Neurodiversity and Autism Spectrum Disorder” online on 25 May with 50 attendees.



Project Presentation at the Social Service Sharing Session organized by the Li Ka Shing Foundation

Funded by the Li Ka Shing Foundation, the Association launched the mental health online learning hub in 2020. Invited by the Foundation, the Association shared the project outcome and insights at the Social Service Sharing Session on 8 June with other NGOs.



Participation in the "Local Fresh” "Organic Farm Market” Sales Event

Invited by Vegetable Marketing Organization and Fish Marketing Organization, the Kwai Shing Sheltered Workshop, Tin King Sheltered Workshop, New Life Farm and Shek Pai Wan Integrated Work Centre (operated by New Life) jointly participated in the "Local Fresh” "Organic Farm Market” Sales Event at the Maritime Square from 6 to 9 May 2022. Organic vegetables & herbs and self-branded products such as O’beans – organic soy products, floral tea, Goodle noodles and glee – health snacks were promoted at the sales event.



Set Up the New Life Farm Sales Point at APITA (Tai Koo)

In the collaboration with Unicom Stores (HK) Limited (group member of Henderson Real Estate Agency Limited), New Life Farm has set up a new sales point at APITA (Tai Koo) since May 2022 for promoting the organic vegetables and herbs.

Kwai Shing Sheltered Workshop x Cook Asia Ltd
Corporate Volunteering Activity

As one of the corporate partners of New Life, Cook Asia volunteer team visited Kwai Shing Sheltered Workshop during the Dragon Boat Festival and shared the rice dumplings and fruits with service users. The Association also introduced the operation flow of the community fridge at the Food Sharing Project with the Cook Asia volunteer team.



so330 - Inclusive Coffee Academy
Mindbrew cafe Barista Skills Training Course

so330, a social enterprise restaurant operated by New Life, is a combination of healthy cafe, space for body (3), mind (3) and spirit (0) well-being, and the inclusive coffee academy. Apart from providing comfort food and a space for relaxation, so330 also offered coffee workshop and tailor-made barista training to disabilities in the last year as well as employing the disable staff to join the team. 

Supported by Mindset, so330 jointly organized the barista skills training course for people in recovery of mental illness (PIR) with Mindbrew cafe operated by Mindset in May 2022. Upon the completion of the 12-hours barista skills training, the participants might have opportunity to be employed under the project operated by Mindset.

A total of 8 PIR graduated from the training course. Both barista skills and operation skills of the coffee shop were enhanced. The next barista skills training course will be conducted in June 2022. so330 will continue to organize different inclusive coffee training to the people in need.
