WRAP® Wellness Recovery Action Plan -

In the three-hour workshop, five key concepts of recovery will be introduced: hope, personal responsibility, education, self-advocacy, and support. Participants will develop their "Wellness Recovery Action Plan” and take the first step towards a healthy life.

Mental Wellness Self-management Workshop

This workshop is adapted from Self Help Plus, a group-based stress management course developed by World Health Organization. It aims to support people with mild psychological stress and provide them with stress management skills that reduce the impact of unwanted thoughts and feelings; and cope with life stressors in accordance with one’s personal value.

Duration: Nov 2022 to Dec 2022, tentatively on Friday nights or Saturday mornings
Sessions: 6 sessions in total, usually 1 session per week with 2 hours each
Target: Aged between 18-60, under mild psychological distress, willing to learn skills to improve mental wellness, proficient with Chinese reading and writing (subject to further screening by project staff)

Basic Course on Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP®)

The Wellness Recovery Action Plan® (WRAP®) is a self-help plan designed by people in recovery from the US. In this basic course, participants will develop their "Mental Health Toolbox" through WRAP® to maintain and improve their mental wellbeing health and learn to cope with changes in life by positive thinking.

Mindful Parenting Course

This course focuses on the stress response of parents in raising their children. Parents will learn how to get along with their children and take care of themselves effectively in a mindful manner, thus improving family relations.

Date and Time: Usually in the morning or evening on weekdays, or in the morning on weekends
Duration: 8 sessions in total, usually one session (2.5 hours) per week
