The cafes offer ‘comfort food’, low-carbon eating, vegetarian choices, organic food and fair trade products. One café commenced its business at Castel Peak Hospital in 2013. It offers light refreshments and drinks to hospital staff and visitors. Food and drinks selection include sandwiches, cakes, snacks, coffee, healthy drinks, etc. The grab-and-go service fits in with the busy life of hospital staff and provides convenience to visitors.
