Service Introduction
"New LIFEstyle”, Mobile Van for Publicity Service on Mental Wellness (MVP), is dedicated to visiting various communities in the New Territories to contact residents and the public through the two mobile vans (namely "Enjoy 330” and "Share 330” respectively) equipped with different themes. Our service aims to strengthen mental health education, promote public awareness on mental wellness and develop positive help-seeking attitude with the ultimate goal of early prevention, identification and intervention.
Our mission
- Enhance public understanding of mental health and acceptance of people in recovery of mental illness
- Promote mental wellness as well as active and engaged lifestyle
- Develop positive help-seeking attitude
- Strengthen community collaboration in promoting mental health
- Provide mental health prevention, early detection, and intervention services for concerned individuals
Our service
- Provision of mental health education by organising exhibitions, self-assessment, mini talks, experiential activities, etc. in different places, e.g. housing estates, schools, tertiary education institutes, community facilities, those areas with less accessibility or sparser population, etc.
- Collaboration with other service units or sectors on the prevention of mental illness and promotion of mental wellness in the region served
- Collaboration with Integrated Community Centre(s) for Mental Wellness on promoting ICCMW service
- Provision of simple on-site screening for the public
- Provision of short-term social work intervention

Service target
- General public
- Specific target groups (such as students, helping professionals, elderly, etc.)
- Persons having mental health needs
Service charges
Free (Charges will be applied for some programs, subject to the activity and content)
Admission and withdrawal of service
- General public is welcome to visit the mobile van and join public activities
- Our social worker would conduct mental health assessment for those in need and provide short-term case intervention service as needed
- Organizations who are interested in program collaboration can contact our staff and complete the application form
- When the condition of service user is stable or upon referral to other suitable services, our staff will terminate the case service. Service users can also request for withdrawal from our service at any time.
