Our Mission

Youths affected by Asperger/ Autism Spectrum Disorder have their own edges and potentials. Owing to the challenges in social cognition, they may face difficulty in establishing and sustaining social relationship with their peer. Given appropriate training and opportunities, we believe that their potential can be best developed.

iLinks is a project funded by Community Chest and launched in June 2011. It aims to facilitate the social integration of high functioning youths challenged by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by supporting their long term needs in social and cognitive development. In other to strengthen their social cognition, independence and interpersonal relationship, this Project adopts the social thinking approach developed by Michelle G. Winner, an American speech and language pathologist, to provide group training, peer networking and other related services to the youths.

What is social thinking?
