The Wellness Centre is an Integrated Community Centre for Mental Wellness. It aims at providing local residents with one-stop, direct, convenient and comprehensive mental health community support services and timely intervention including mental health education, general enquiries on mental health, issues assistance and follow-up services for people with suspected mental health problems and support for people in recovery from mental illness, their families and carers.
Integrated Community Centres for Mental Wellness have been set up in 18 districts in Hong Kong. The Wellness Centre (Tin Shui Wai), which commenced service in March 2009, was the first centre operated by the Association. The other centres operated by the Association were opened in October 2010 for the residents of Sham Shui Po, Yau Tsim Mong, Shatin, Kwai Chung, Tuen Mun and Islands Districts.

Day training programmes on self-care, home management, vocational skills, social skills and community living for developing the potential of people in recovery from mental illness |

Reaching out to the community through exhibitions, health checks, booths and talks on mental health to promote holistic health to the public |

Referring those in need to the Hospital Authority for clinical assessment and psychiatric treatment |

| |
Free of charge for out-reaching services, counseling services, day training, community education and wellness programmes |
| |
Social and recreational activities are provided at cost. |
