Located in Tin Shui Wai, the first integrated mental health centre in Hong Kong, the Wellness Centre, commenced its service in late March 2009. The centre provides a one-stop integrated community mental health service including public education, case and group work, outreaching visits and day training programmes for the residents of Tin Shui Wai district, people with suspected mental health problems, people with mental illness and their family members / caregivers.

Adopting a “Wellness” model, the Centre encourages the residents of the district to take a positive approach when faced with setbacks and difficulties. The Centre also strives for promoting “Holistic Health”, a balanced life covering all aspects of physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and vocational. A pro-active approach is also taken in which we step into the community and establish contacts with people from all walks of life by organising a variety of activities and outreaching services to enhance public awareness on mental health.
