Reinforcing Tripartite Partnership to Help People with Mental Illness Start a New Page

We work closely with public organisations and private enterprises to realize the potentials of tripartite partnerships between business, government and social welfare sectors for the common goal of helping the disadvantaged. The collaborations involve support from our partners that range from financial support to pro bono professional services including training opportunities and work placements, volunteer work, mentoring at work and also sponsorship and strategic partnership in different forms. All the hard work aims at creating more training and employment opportunities for people with mental illness, helping them to live independently and integrate better into the society. Capitalizing on the specific know-how of our partners, we design programmes and projects that meet the individual needs of our service users to optimize the outcome and establish win-win partnerships.

We have strived for long to build long term partnership with various organisations and corporations. Our partners include (in arbitrary order): Mindset (a registered charitable organisation of the Jardine Matheson Group), Goodwell Property Management Limited, Kai Shing Management Services Limited, Urban Property Management Limited, IKEA, UPS, Teresa Teng Foundation, MTR, Towngas, HKR International Ltd., Intercontinental Hong Kong, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Eli Lilly Asia Incorporated, Celestial Pictures Limited, Agricultural, Fisheries and Conservation Department and Kadorrie Farm.

In recognition of our partners’ support and contributions, we nominate eligible partners for HKCSS’s (The Hong Kong Council of Social Service) Caring Company / Caring Organization logos every year. We were glad to see 22 corporations and organizations successfully nominated in 2008.
