Develop and Promote Mental Health Education
New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association is a non-profit making welfare association which aims at providing quality community-based rehabilitation services for people with mental illness, so as to help them develop their full potential, attain a desirable quality of life and integrate better into society.
Mental health education is pivotal in Hong Kong as our fellow people living here are always under constant pressure of work and family. Having noticed such a need, we promote good mental health in various forms like talks, workshops, symposiums, inclusive art and talk shows beyond the working age adults to the youth, women, elderly and family. We would like to appeal for your support.
Dr Wu Wai Yung Fund
To carry out the last wish of late Chairman Dr Wu Wai Yung, the Association established the “Dr Wu Wai Yung Fund” in October, 2006. The objective of the fund is to develop the exchange programme of community-based psychosocial rehabilitation services between the Association’s and that of mainland China in such a way that more people with mental illness would be benefitted finally.
Dr. Wu Wai Yung had always championed the cause of advancing community-based psychosocial rehabilitation services in the mainland. We are dedicated to continuing this passion and are longing to see the service quality enhanced as a result of the progress made. Donations to this fund will go to finance the development of these exchange programmes.
